Overview

Structured Service-Learning Eligible for Academic Credit

Since the inception of ISV's college credit programs, nearly 2,000 students from hundreds of universities across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand have earned academic credit through our structured service-learning programs. Phase One โ€” the 14-day service immersion โ€” is the component eligible for independent study, internship, or transfer credit arrangements at participating institutions with our HELP2SERVE.CARE programs.

If you plan to pursue academic credit, it is your responsibility to initiate the approval process with your academic advisor or department prior to departure. Start these conversations as early as possible.

Students from more than 150 colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada have earned independent study or internship credit โ€” in disciplines including nursing, public health, business, environmental studies, applied sciences, languages, and more.
