Engaging, professionally delivered Spanish language instruction is provided for beginner, intermediate, and advanced proficiency levels through our trusted partner schools with proven dedicated language education experience.
These dynamic and culturally integrated lessons are intentionally designed to accelerate both conversational ability and cultural fluency. Through interactive instruction, real-world application, and guided immersion, participants build meaningful confidence in speaking, listening, and engaging within the local community.
By the time you arrive at your Volunteer Project, you will not only possess stronger language skills — you will carry the confidence, cultural awareness, and practical communication tools necessary to connect authentically with the people you serve.
2. Stay with a Host Family!
For many participants, the true highlight of this experience is the homestay.
Students are welcomed into carefully selected host families who have been thoughtfully vetted and who bring extensive experience partnering with ISV programs. These families are known for their warmth, hospitality, and genuine commitment to cultural exchange.
Homes are safe, comfortable, and located conveniently near the Spanish school, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in daily life while maintaining a structured and supportive environment.
Beyond language development, the homestay experience fosters authentic connection, cross-cultural understanding, and lasting global relationships — often becoming one of the most meaningful and memorable aspects of the entire immersion.
3. Learn to Live Like a Local!
Staying with a local host family, exploring the vibrant attractions, and building friendships with your fellow ISV volunteers creates an unforgettable introduction to local life.
Participants also enjoy included local dance instruction, along with authentic cooking lessons — immersive cultural experiences that bring language and community to life in meaningful and memorable ways.
